How to display permissions for your Exchange Organization object in System Manager

By default permissions / security information is not displayed for the Organization object while in Exchange System Manager.  In Exchange 5.5 you could set similar functionality via the the options menu in the Exchange 5.5 Administrator program.  In Exchange 200x, a small registry modification is needed to display security information. 

Please follow the below procedure with caution as with any other manual registry change.

  1. Start the registry editor on the Windows machine running System Manager.  (Either regedit or regedt32)
     

  2. Navigate to the following registry location.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\ExAdmin
     

  3. Add a DWord called ShowSecurityPage, and give it a value of 1.
