How to remove duplicate EventConfig Folders

1. Log onto to Exchange server console using the Site Service Account.
    
2. Open a command window.
    
3. navigate to \\exchsrvr\bin directory where you installed Exchange.
    
4. Type "Net stop msexchangees".
    
5. Type "events.exe /c:<servername>".
    
6. Repeat step five until all duplicate folders have been removed.  You may need to run this command sever times.
    
7. Type "Net start msexchangees".
    
8. Verify that you have removed all duplicates.
